E-mail Lists
West Campus Point has four community e-mail lists. Each list is described in detail below. When you first become a homeowner (or need to update your household’s contact information), please contact PalmPlazaVolunteers@googlegroups.com, specify your name, unit number and UCSB affiliation, and ask to add your household to the two mandatory email lists (the property manager’s list and WCP announcements). Please also indicate whether you would like to opt into either or both of the optional lists (WCP Community and WCP Pool). For each of the lists, indicate which email address(es) you would like to use. If you are a renter, please ask the owner to request that you be added to pertinent lists.
The two mandatory lists for all homeowners are:
The Property Manager’s list is maintained by our property managers. It is used to alert homeowners to important community issues such as planned power outages, road repairs, or HOA board meetings), and to send each homeowner a monthly financial statement.
WCP Announcements is used by the West Campus Point Homeowners Association Board of Directors to send announcements to homeowners. It is an obligatory e-mail list for homeowners at West Campus Point. Please do not unsubscribe (unless you are moving away or changing your email address). Postings can only be made by members of the Board.
The two optional lists are:
WCP Community is used by WCP homeowners to send messages to one another about topics of mutual interest.
• Only members of the list can post or receive list messages.
• As a member, you can search the logs of prior conversations for recommendations about repairs and maintenance using the Google Group interface.
WCP Pool is a smaller list for discussion related to the swimming pool.
